Vaden in the Community

Vaden Nissan Group in Savannah GA

Vaden Automotive opened its doors in 1968 under founding father, Dan Vaden. Mr. Vaden's belief that the "customer signs our paychecks" remains the cornerstone of The Vaden Way. Dan's daughter, Jane Vaden Thacher, carries that legacy torch today and encourages employee participation in grassroots efforts supporting "Education and Literacy." Through community partnerships in all the communities we do business—like Bluffton, Okatie, Pritchardville, and Charleston—Vaden stands firmly committed to making an impact not only today, but for many years to come.

Why? Because Vaden Cares.

2025/2026 Events

REMEMBERING TOGETHER THIS MEMORIAL DAY

This Memorial Day, the Vaden Nissan Hinesville team was proud to partner with the American Legion Post in Hinesville for a meaningful community gathering. The event brought people together for a day of remembrance, reflection, and connection.

We’re grateful to the American Legion, the Ft. Stewart Band, and everyone who attended and helped make the day so special. At Vaden Nissan, we value opportunities to support local organizations and participate in events that bring our community together. Thank you for allowing us to be part of this meaningful occasion.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS THAT LAST

At Vaden Automotive, we believe that showing up for community is not just for a special occasion, but throughout the year. Our team at Vaden Nissan Savannah has been a proud partner with local K-8 school, Hesse, throughout meaningful 2026 moments that encourage and support students and educators alike.

From delivering Valentine’s Day treats to the school’s staff in February, speaking with 8 th graders about potential careers in the automotive and marketing industry in March, and celebrating the student’s hard work after GMAS testing with hot dogs and treats in May, each visit has been an opportunity to give back and build long lasting connections.

We’re grateful for our partnership with Hesse k-8 and look forward to continuing to support the students, teachers, and families who make this community special. We especially can’t wait to see the students grow in the future!

CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION

Our Hilton Head store was proud to sponsor the Sun City Women’s Tennis Organization’s 20th Anniversary Celebration in March. The event brought together members of the community for a day of friendly competition, gathering, and celebration!

Supporting organizations that foster connection and community is an important part of who we are here at Vaden Nissan. We value our longstanding partnership with Sun City, and we were/are so honored to celebrate these milestones with them that bring people together and strengthen the community we proudly serve.

WELCOMING NEW BEGINNINGS AT FORT STEWART

This February, the Vaden Nissan Hinesville team had the privilege of connecting with service members and their families during the Fort Stewart Newcomer's Meeting. We're grateful for the opportunity to welcome those who are beginning a new chapter in our community. It was an honor to be part of their introduction to the Hinesville area, and we look forward to continuing to serve and support our military community!

INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF AUTOMOTIVE

Supporting the next generation of automotive professionals is an investment in our community’s future that here at Vaden we are thrilled about! In 2025, Vaden Nissan Hilton Head was proud to welcome students from May River High School’s Automotive Pathway program for a “Lunch & Learn” focused on career exploration!

Students had the opportunity to learn about many career paths available at Vaden for automotive from dealership operations to skilled technician roles. The program also introduced key topics such as financial literacy, industry certifications, and Vaden’s $10,000 tool Program.

We are proud to partner with local schools to help educate, inspire, and empower the next generation of automotive professionals – and we hope they find their way back to us!

SUPPORTING A LOVE OF READING

By investing in literacy and educational opportunities, Vaden is honored to partner with local schools and help empower the next generation of readers and leaders!

Through a $5,000 donation to Hesse K-8, Vaden Nissan Savannah is proud to support initiatives that inspire a lifelong love for learning in the community! The donation helped to fund the school’s book vending machine program, an exciting way to give students the opportunity to earn and enjoy new books!

MENTORING FUTURE LEADERS

In 2025, Vaden Nissan Hinesville proudly partnered with Liberty County High School to host a five-week mentorship program designed to help students build the workplace skills they'll carry into their future careers. Throughout the program, team members met with students to share real-world experiences and provide guidance on the soft skills that are essential for success in any profession.

In August, students focused on the value of effective communication, enthusiasm, and teamwork in the workplace. During September, they participated in a "Skills to Pay the Bills" session, exploring topics such as networking, critical thinking, professionalism, and setting SMART goals to prepare for life after graduation. The mentorship concluded in October with a special Recognition Day, where Vaden Nissan Hinesville was honored to celebrate the students' hard work, growth, and commitment throughout the program.

Connecting with the next generation of leaders at Liberty County High School was truly a rewarding experience. We hope the lessons learned during this mentorship continue to inspire and empower these students for years to come. At Vaden Nissan, we're proud to invest in our community by supporting local students, fostering meaningful relationships, and helping build a brighter future!
