Dispelling rumors that the popular Nissan Cube was on its way out, Nissan recently revealed important information about the fourth generation of the Cube, including pricing and specs. The funky geometrical car also gets a new limited-edition package, among a few other new features for 2012.

Starting off with a base price of $14,980, the cost of the Cube maxes out with the 1.8 SL with CVT at $18,520. The Cube is still built on the same platform, featuring a 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder offering 122 ponies of power mated to either a CVT or six-speed manual transmission. New features for 2012 include Nissan's Intelligent Key on all SL models, as well as an attached armrest standard on all S and SL models.

Also new this year, the 1.8 S Indigo Limited Edition package includes special Indigo seat trim, 15-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a navigation system with a 5-inch touch screen, RearView Monitor, speakers with a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and a USB port. Nissan also threw in a few new exterior colors for shoppers to choose from, including Pearl White, Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Cayenne Red and Bali Blue.

It's as fun as ever, too, with room for up to five passengers and technology like push-button ignition, Bluetooth connectivity, XM Satellite Radio and Interface System for iPod. Other available accessories include a 20-color interior accent lighting kit, a shag dash topper, aerodynamic body kit, and uniquely styled wheels.
