Nissan Unveils Compact Cargo Utility in Chicago

Nissan is making quite a statement with their lineup of NV200 models. The original, the Nissan NV200, was officially chosen as NYC's Taxi of Tomorrow, taking over the city as the latest in iconic transportation. Next up for the NV200: a cargo van and a passenger van.
The NV200 compact cargo van made its debut at the Chicago auto show early in February, and is set to go on sale early in 2013. However, this isn't the van's first public showing - in fact, it's already available in more than 40 countries!
The medium size and low cost of ownership make this van just right for businesses that need cargo space but don't need an oversized utility truck. The NV200 boasts about 123 cubic feet of cargo space and is just over 15-feet long, and five-and-a-half feet wide. Powering the van is Nissan's 2.0-liter engine and a continuously variable transmission.
Nissan says, "Business moves fast and the new Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo van is built to give you the flexibility to keep up."1 Rather, the tall rear doors are split 40/60 for ease of access, and each side has sliding doors. It's also available with navigation, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and is prewired for Nissan Fleet Tracker, making it a veritable office on wheels!
Other business-minded amenities include a six-way adjustable driver's seat and center console designed to hold file folders, CDs, drinks, and even a laptop! The passenger seat even folds down into a desktop to help you get work done on the road.
Like we said, it will be available early next year! Be sure to stay tuned with Vaden Nissan for more info on this and other new Nissan models. Or, stop by and see them for yourself!
