Nissan Esflow Details Emerge

Last month the Nissan Esflow made its first appearance as an all-electric concept. Not many details were released on the automobile (which looks more like a shuttle docked inside The USS Enterprise), but now more info is emerging about the Esflow.

The Esflow range is 149 miles on a single charge, more than the current Nissan Leaf, which claims 100 miles a charge. Nissan Leaf is, however, currently available for a test drive at Vaden Nissan - 10421 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA.

Nissan Solar Powered Charging Station

Further proving their commitment to electric vehicles, Nissan has proposed a plan to build its first-ever solar-powered car-charging station at its Nissan Americas headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee. If approved by city officials, such an endeavor would be a significant advancement over the current electric charging stations currently housed at the headquarters.

 

Compared to Nissan's current charging stations, which rely solely on power from the national grid electric, the proposed 300-foot facility would use solar panels to help offset the power demand that would be needed to charge the cars. If everything goes according to plan, and Nissan gets the…
